WANT: Anyone used www.enterprisephoto.com? - 05-29-2007, 02:49 AM

Hey all, I've found what appears to be a great deal from a company with a nice website, I'm just afraid the deal is too good.

I've poked all around the internet getting consumer reviews of the site and they seem to be mixed. I was just wondering if anyone on CPF has used the site in the past, and if I could get some feedback from you?

I Want My Money Back!!!! - 08-23-2007, 03:52 PM

tried to order a D80 with a micro lens. I paid for 2 day shipping, a few days later I recieve an email with the following

"We need you to contact us by phone to confirm your order before we ship it out"

So I call them and they start trying to sell me other stuff, so I agree to buy a warranty and a micro lens which I thought they didn't have but the sales guy specifically said they did, so I said ok and he said I will recieve shipment on Monday night.

On Monday I didn't see my tracking info in my email as they promised so I call and they said "There is a problem with the lens it will not be in until Wednesday" They said they will ship out on Wednesday and by Friday I will have my stuff.

On Wednesday I failed to recieve my tracking info my email so I called them and now they said that they are sold out on the D80 and it will be another two weeks before they get the next order. I freaked out and I said "Thats a lie!" to which they replied that wait let me check and the lady said, oh my mistake you did already order a D80 and it looks like it is going out today (Wednesday).

On Thursday (today) I call to get my tracking info, and lo and behold they say that they have a problem with the lens and it will be another week! They also claim that they will not charge until the item ships out. This is another lie as I was charged for nothing. At this point I cancelled my order, and demanded all charges to be credited to my credit card immediately. They said ok, but noone can give me a confirmation of the cancelation! I make a few more calls and the same lady keeps picking it up and guaranteeing me that my order is cancelled and that the refund department will be crediting my card.

If you want to be taken advantage of, have your intellegence insulted, lied to, and have bad customer service then enterprisephoto is the way to go.

I hope they credit me the money back asap.

Call your credit card company NOW! tell them what transpired and insist that the charges be removed. Then contact the Better Business Bureau and file a complaint against the company.

And if you are thinking of saving a few bucks and trying somewhere different, please do yourself a favor first. Check out the vendor at this site.

You may save yourself a little (or a lot of) heartache.

However, it seems that enterprise photo didn't fare all that poorly. Each persons experience will differ from any others.

I also had a sketchy experience with enterprisephoto - 08-31-2007, 10:19 AM

I tried to order a camera from them over the phone this morning.

I have a VISA gift card that I wanted to put toward my purchase, and then use my credit card for the bulk of the amount.

The rep I talked to told me that it would be "too much of a hassel" and that if I wanted to do it, I would need to send him my VISA gift card so he could physically run it.

I asked to talk to a manager at that point. I was shifted back and forth from person to person, finally ending up with the first guy I talked to who then put me on hold indefinitely.

Not only were they rude, but what retailer would have a policy where they'd ask people to physically mail them a credit card??

I just wanted to add my two cents. I wish I would have found this forum before I'd even considered buying from them.
