hm i was thinking of going to twin peaks here in san francisco, but then i would have to be up til 4am. i have work 7am.. :(

My attempt was a failure... I really need a longer lens than 200mm. I tried using my 1.4x, 2.0x and 3.0x TC's but the movement of the moon made it burry. Using H3200 did not really help either.
This was my first attempt at capturing the moon..
I wish I had a telescope.

Me too.

I did watch the tail end over the ocean when I woke up. Didn't bother going outside as I know my lens doesnt have enough reach.
