i hear ya... ive never really wanted an ipod but with the built in WIFI and internet browser etc etc I so want one now!!

the larger screen will be great to quickly display portfolios to impromptu potential customers and/or show vacation photos to friends and family etc.

Ok, while my phone (not an Iphone) does just fine with 2gigs of memory, a stereo bluetooth headseat, I don't plan on buying an Iphone, they are amazing, but my Samsung Sync is still faster on the internet, but the new Ipods may just be good enough to buy one now, with the WiFi and the browser (Safari if I remember correctly.)

Very cool. I just dont want to be that connected with the world. yet. I held off getting a cell till my kids started driving. Now, I find my self needing more text messaging on my plan and have buff "text thumbs".

I haven't had a minute to go and look at the iphone. But it sure looks cool.

Actually, I despise my current phone, and am looking for a new one.
The one thing I do know is that I don't really need to be surfing the net from my phone. In fact, I had that option turned off for my current phone.
Do I want an iPhone? Not really. It has a whole lot more bells and whistles than I need in a phone.
What do I need in a phone? I need to be able to make phone calls.

cool deal timothy... ive heard some stores here in houston got shipments of like 50 or so Touch's and they all went fast! apparently they werent supposed to be released yet but Apple told them to go ahead and sell them anyways...
