I was just wondering how many people still work in the darkroom. I understand that with digital era it is kind of outdated, but to me it's what I've learned from. Lol, and so many mistakes can be done out there, that the whole proccess is still kind of a magic to me.

I used to have a dark room, but now I develope my B&W film in a Dark Sack, which is basically a large bag with two holes to put your arms into. For printing, I use the small bathroom which has a tiny window that I black out. I use the weather strips around the door, so no light gets thru. I still love B&W film.

I'd love to have a dark room but alas. no space, I do develop film from time to time, B&W using a loading bag like Scott. But mostly I do UV alternative processes like gum dichromate and gum oil. Recently haven't really been printing much of those either. But with my new printer...larger negatives are bound to happen...I'm itching for a sunny day now.
I'm taking a photo class next semsester because I can use the darkroom.

Alas, no room for the dark room either. Ventilation being the key factor. I, too develop my film, but then scan the negs on a Nikon Coolscan V. It works pretty good, but it's not nearly as cool as watching a print appear right before your eyes.

Yeah, same problem here: not enough space! So I do as everybody else, dark sack. I think I gonna go back to college just to use their darkroom (way cheaper than renting).
