What a week... (Yup I'm whining)

This week has been pretty ruff for me...
Got sick late Friday~ Early Saturday with the Flu, so I've been in bed for most of the week. The doctor said on Monday that I'll be all over by Friday.

Monday, my wife calls and said she has another flat tire… we seem to have worn ours out, so I order new tires from Tire rack… $1600 worth.

All of my nephews and nieces are also sick with the same flu, as well as a couple of my brothers and my mother. So on Tuesday Night, I had Rose go to her mother’s house with my newborn and stay their instead of the “sick houses”. I’ve not held or kissed Alexander or Rose since Sunday…

Wednesday, I broke a cough syrup bottle on my laptop; the whole contents flowed into the laptop. It was one of those times in which I suddenly sneezed and lost grip of the bottle... and it just happen to be as I was walking by the table. I completely disassembled the laptop and cleaned everything office and rinsed some things in alcohol, but it didn't make a difference, she's just dead.

I woke up late Wednesday, unable to open my right eye… Aarrgg I now have PINK EYE.

Thursday, I had a client call and state that she is not going to need my service anymore for a wedding, he uncle is flying in from Hawaii, and is going to write it off as a business expense, apparently he is wedding photographer. I was supposed to meet her on Saturday to sign the contract paper work.

Today, I attempted to get gas… my card was declined… it expired. FRACK and my appointment is later on today. I’m going to insist on antibiotics. I’ll have to also have Rose order my new laptop for me.

I cancelled the club meeting I have for Sunday, I was supposed to help install some suspension parts and due a tech article on the install. I feel too sick…

Hugs for you son! You know...after a week like that, things have GOT to get better. But I was thinking you had used up all your bad Karma with the lens incident! Man! What did you do to get all this bad Karma! You are getting up in the night with that baby...you're grabbing the little mamma a glass of water when her feet are tired...you're changing diapers... I Know you are doing all that stuff....There must be a glitch on the Karma list ! LOL

I've ordered better times for you next week on my Karma credit card.

Ugg, well I'm still sick, but I now have antibiotics, I insisted on getting them, but the doctor was VERY reluctant. He advises me to "let the flu Run it's course"... I gave him a evil look... and got what I wanted.

I did not order a notebook yet... I'm trying not to buy anything while I'm sick, I tend to make mistakes that way.

Ouch!!!! Big time!!!! Well Scott, I hope things get better for you REALLY soon! And it sounds that in the midst of chaos and big things happening, you are at least doing a few smart things (like waiting until your better to order the new laptop.) Get well soon!!!

Lisa had the flu a couple of weeks back and i sent her to the Dr's office that very next day to get meds... she wanted to wait it out but i insisted in her going to get antibiotics...

she was very thankful she did

i had a flu shot in early December and didnt catch it this year. i typically dont get the shot but had to this year since i was headed overseas for a few days.
