Thumbs up Need Operations help. Get access to all Pro gear. - 03-06-2008, 01:17 PM

We (BorrowLenses.com) are in need of a part time person who would help with our daily operations. This is an ideal job for a person who wants free access to all the L grade Canons and awesome Nikons that we stock.

Benefits: The lens closet is your playground. Take any gear that you want, as long as it's not scheduled to go out.

Pay: Negotiable.

The duties include:

- Receiving orders. This is opening boxes and cleaning incoming equipment. As well as going through our computer tracking system and marking order status.

- Shipping orders. This is taking gear off the shelves and packaging up for shipment. Also going through the computer tracking system.

- Minor driving around picking stuff up. We have a camera store that we deal with on daily basis, and the UPS store where we receive packages. Daily pickups at these two locations would be needed. Both locations are within 2 miles of home base.

-Customer service. answering phones/emails.

Hours: Probably need about 25 hours per week. Most work is done Monday-Friday. Some Sundays might be required.

Location: San Mateo,CA

If anyone you know is interested, please refer him/her.

I saw the "Part Time" and my eyes lit up. :w00t: Then I saw the days.
I work Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday. I thought a part time gig playing with camera equipment would be my ideal. Then I realized you need someone for a little while every day.

Oh well. 25 hours a week on top of my regular job wouldn't leave me a heck of a lot time for shooting anyway. Besides, I just started SCUBA diving again.

By the way Markol, I was serious in my reply on POTN about paying my last respects when you get that lens back from Canon.

For anyone wondering what I am talking about, here is a link. It's not for the faint at heart.

Mark, wish I could help you (and me) Good news is, I'm interested renting a lens. Canon's 16-35mm L series. I want to buy one, but that won't happen for a bit and I should test it out first anyways.

Ever think of giving a CPF discount with Borrowlense for first-time customers?

Hey Kiljoy, read at least part of that fourm thread that you put the link up for. Were you the one who dropped the lense?
