My Direct TV Tivo R10 - 03-13-2008, 12:44 AM

My Direct TV Tivo R10 just had it's hard drive fail.. so I'm bummed.

I'm just gonna drop in a bigger hard drive. It came with a 80 gig drive, so I think I will drop 500gig hard drive. That should give me about 480 hours of recording ablity vs the 70 hours that it had before.

It's not formatted the same as you would with a PC.. but I have the OS for it.

I hope this is the last of my bad Karma that I've had over the past few weeks... all these electronic failures are getting to me.

Dude! You really did piss off mother nature! :-) Hope it is the last for you.

Hey how is that little dude growing? Talking yet? Maybe it is a little young for that but I bet he is the light of your life.

He's doing fine, he is making lots of baby sounds and looking around. He is definately aware of his surroundings.

I have no idea what I've done, but I do know it's costing me a bit. My wife said I PO'ed the Tech Gods by being cheap over the past few years since I've not been gaming as much or building my OWN monster machines. So this year and next will be the year of upgrades since mother nature and the tech gods are making me buy things
