I belong to a couple of other photo boards as well as this one.

However, that being said, the people on THIS board are certainly the friendliest of all of the boards that I frequent.
Perhaps it's because it's still not as large as the others.
Perhaps it's because I feel like I got in on the ground floor here, and have watched this board grow, and it's still growing.
Perhaps it's just because this feels more like a home than the others.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone.

ur right, i've been attacked on my first post, at this other forum, becuse my spelling was odd(i.e. urs, ur, gunna,omg,lol), and i had to us the correct spelling, and ofcourse i always have a sarcasticly respond when bein attacked.

but here, there's more friendly people, sometimes we dont agree on things and have some back n forth words, but it stays in that thread, and let it go and not continue the battle outside that thread


i personally enjoy this forum , the only thing is that the members need to be more active on all the forum sections, i've seen post that were from along time ago and i see that section all dusty lol

In a couple of different threads on those other boards, I got into some "converstaions" and also gave my opinions where they were asked.
I too got attacked. Oh well. Their loss. Right?

im right there with you alan. it's pretty cool watching this board grow and it is ALOT more friendly than some of the other boards out there. cheers to abel and cheers to all the founding members.

I like this board as well, mainly because it's smaller. I do "Visit" other forums, but I rarely posts.

BTW, IF I do something to annoy you or tick you off, just let me know what I did. I don't ever mean to do anything on purpose to make people angry or upset, and sometimes my humor does not come across correctly.

This is actually one of the best forum crowds I've ever had the pleasure to have e-mingled with.

(Just a thought, maybe we're all so nice to eachother because we all live in California and could feasibly meet someone one day and don't want to be known as the internet jerk!)

As for running into each other, I have been trying to set up a meet and greet in Northern California for just over a year now. I have been trying for SF, but I'm game for heading up to Sac. Anyone else up for it?:w00t:

hahaa snarfy... it seems all car forums are like that!?! lol!!

i think it being regional really helps the feel of the community.. even as this forum gets larger it will still retain the friendly attitude because we have a great bas group of members to help lead by example so to speak for new comers.

i just need to get my recruitment hat back on and get out there and bring in more members to help generate more content/traffic/interactions etc.

may be time for another newsletter as well as carry out a few ideas i have in regards to attracting new people.

Awwwww blow it out your..... Oh wait, lol, just kidding Killjoy! But yeah, I feel like you do for the same reasons. One other site, it's good, kinda feels like here, but you get more flaming there (and this is coming from me!) but still overall a good site. There's this one other site that's like a zoo, that even I get lost in the mix of it all! But yeah, I'm not naming names here in public fourms, but if anybody would like to know which one's I'm talking about, a private message will do just fine, lol. But yeah, I kinda like it here, can't wait to see this place grow even more!!!

BOY HOWDY I'm guilty as charged in that department as well. And I know guys who are devoted to GM, and call the other cars Rustangs.

As a matter of fact, I saw a nice Mustang I would love to have.
I was at the dealer having my F-150 serviced, and saw a 2008 GT 500 Convertible. (where's the icon with the drool?)

By the way, we never did see any photos of you installing that blower.
