No More Trees at Tunnel View

I just saw from another forum that NPS has removed some trees at Tunnel View (Yosemite). Now if I can just get up there...

I will say what I said when I read this story right after the park service cut these trees down, I find it to be absolutely absurd that the National Park Service cut these three trees down so they can allow for the thousands of people who come through on tour buses to see the view throughout the parking lot there. Maybe they should consider limiting the number of people they allow in the valley before the pollution gets as bad as Southern California. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I thought the NPS was created to protect the natural beauty of our country, not to get rid of trees that are blocking our view................ sorry for the rant
