Thanks guys.
As for the truck, this is just my personal experience.
I HAD a Chevy. It was the biggest piece of #$&* that I ever dumped money into. I had bought it brand new.
When it was in the shop for the umpteenth time, they told me it was going to be $1700 to fix it.
I sighed, and the service writer said "Yeah, you have to wonder if it's worth putting money into an old vehicle like that, or taking the money and going into the showroom and buying a new one"
I laughed in her face, and told her I wouldn't make THAT mistake EVER again.
She didn't think I was funny.
I wasn't trying to be.
So when the time came to replace it, I even gave another Chevy a try.
We test drove a Silverado 4x4 that had that technology that would shut off some cylinders to save gas when the extra power wasn't neccesary.
Well, we tried to pull on the freeway during our testdrive, and that truck never kicked into low gear. Either that, or there were four of the eight cylinders that never turned back on.
We limped it back to the dealer, and left.
I LOVE my Ford. :w00t:
