Tribute to a true craftsman

The other day, I went to one of my other favorite photo fourms and was shocked to find out that one of the moderators, along with a great man and photographer, whom I had many great conversations with, had passed away. I thought that I would start a thread here for those of you who may have known Roger F. Smith to pay some sort of respects to such a kind hearted man who gave so much to teaching so many people our craft. Here's the link to the other site. Wow. I hadn't heard of him but I am a newbie so there are a lot of people I haven't heard of.
