I had created a poster and sent it to a number of the camera stores that I frequented when I lived in SoCal (Canoga Camera, Woodland Hills Camera, Samy's, Mel Pierce, Calumet, Bel Air).

If any of you have good relations with a camera store, let me know and I'll forward the full res file to you to print and post.

I'll have to admit that I don't reply much because my knowledge of photography is very limited having just taken up the hobby...I think of myself as more a lens collector than a photographer...

I guess I could post "nice picture" every time someone posts a photo but I don't think that's what you're looking for...Ben

I haven't been posting much because my son came home after being on the east coast for 8 months going to various schools for the Marine Corps and we were always doing something. I guess I need to get out and take some pictures now!!

Give your honest opinion. I am on another forum where many of the "replies" are lighting sucks, I would try this or its out of focus or over exposed ect. Helps to get it right next time.

I get that alot. Besides the fact that there are only a handful of active users unless we get some sort of contest going I dont think things will pick up much. I know they did that big contest a few months back. Maybe they need to try some smaller prized monthly stuff. Maybe smugmug can toss in some free 1 month subscriptions or something. I dont know.
