Next meetup - Yosemite?

I threw it out to Alan and he quickly threw it back to me, so I'll run with it for a bit.

Whats the interest in a meet up at Yosemite on Saturday June 27th? I throw out the 27th because it's the only date that fits my schedule until the middle of August and I guess if I'm going to spearhead this one I should make it a day I can attend...lol

I'm a Yosemite virgin so any and all suggestions are welcome.

I'm in. As luck would have it, that is the weekend my family is camping at Yosemite. I'll already be there!

Steve, you've never been to Yosemite? Been living in a cave man?

Fly into Sacramento and I'll personally make sure you get back and forth from the airport.

I was planning on being home by that weekend.

You see, the folks I work with have a big camping trip every year, the last Wed, Thurs, Fri of June. This year it's the 24th, 25th, and 26th.
We go camping and boating. This year is Lake Camanche.

Oh, what the heck. I don't like those people anyway. :p

Wow Roger, that is a fantastic image...love it. I also have yet to get to Yosemite, and I live in so cal. I'm going to try and finally get there by making a commitment with you folks. Make some new friends and do a first.

Sounds like a plan richard... youll enjoy this group a lot... i met up with them in San Fran this past weekend and everyone was a class act.. id love to hit up yosemite..

Sacramento,Oakland, San Jose unless there is something in Stockton. If anyone is going up from LA then there is Fresno. Staying in the valley tends to be $$$ you could stay in Mariposa which is close.
Abel, you could fly into Reno/Las Vegas make a little dough and buy everyone some glass.

You could fly into Phoenix and tag along with me for a week or so, and then fly out of SFO.

You'd catch the Bodie and Mono Lake end of my trip.
