I think it is a little late for you to be a high fashion model as you should have grown by now but you could do other work too.
I would have been one but my foster cat looks better than I.

Kevin, I think she is saying that she's 14. There's plenty of time to grow.
Ever heard of a growth spurt?

Marie, there are all kinds of models out there.
Just pick up all kinds of catalogs.
There are big and tall, petite, runway, etc.
If that's what you want to do, then by all means, do it. :w00t:

As for wanting to get in FRONT of the camera? Nah. I'm too ugly.
Just look at my avatar. I had to put on that getup so the camera wouldn't break.

No comments are needed from the peanut gallery (Kevin, that means you!)

Well I have to concur with what kevin was gonna say... Yes.. Alan. You do not belong in front of the camera..

I photographer a girl several months back that was an amazing model, she was very talented and needed no coaching from my side. She did say she was like 2 inches shorter than the required height needed and even mentioned some sort of height extension surgery.. CraZy money and craZy pain. It's so not worth it..

There's a modeling need out there for every shape and size.... High fashion may have the height requirement but if they dot take you for you then find another facet of modeling that will..

Jet my $0.02

I disagree. I have seen photos of you (such as in the thread where you claim you make your boyfriend pose for you) and you are on the wrong side of the camera.
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not commenting on your talent.
I just think that you look terrific in front of the lens. :w00t:

Ive shot girls that were "to short" to be models. They do allot of automotive modeling. Also look into stuff used for catalogs. Teen magazines/clothing lines ect.

Find another agent. "The girl next door" is a big selling point.

If you look at my album that I uploaded, there's a picture of my girlfriend. It's the one with my logo on it in red. She's a model, and she's 5 feet even.

Marie,
Alan did have a point as "the girl next door" look but it also depends on what kind of model you aspire to be. If you haven't had any shots done if there is a meet down there you can always go and have a shoot and be the model.

Alan,
What I was thinking is that typically girls will outgrow boys till Maries age and then the boys will start overtaking them. Your daughter will probably be a 6'er.
And that would be "peanut supplier" not "gallery".

To bad you don't live here in Merced MarieJasmine, Seems I can't get any willing models.. but as for you being to short.. Get real.. as this is the real world and we want real women.. not those tall gargantua women that don't even know what food is and always looks down there noses at ya.. how wude..lol

anyway..as for me, i never want to be in front of the camera , i like it to much behind the scenes, but i do hope you get your wish because as far as i can see , in this forum anything is possible. Okay ya'll San D. photo freaks here Marie's call!! now make her a STAR!!!
