How do you pay for your gear? I steal it.

I'm disabled now, so I really can't afford anything. I used to be an Engineering Technician for a company that made hobby metal detectors and pipe & locating equipment.

I don't. As of this week, I'm an out of work bum.

Gotta find a way to make this hobby pay for itself.

I'm married to a correctional officer that pays for my equipment. well did pay until the Terminator cut his pay, but I'm very happy with what I have now especially since I have learned so much in the last few days, no need to waste money on UN-necessary things , right?

Soon it will be my turn to support my man since he's retiring in about 9 years so i best get my butt in gear and become a famous freelancer huh.. lol

I'm a technical drafter right now...need that steady job to have the insurance. I haven't purchased any new stuff in a while but I got all my gear doing freelance photography. I did alot of commercial stuff for a high end realestate firm's website. Some photojournalism. A few weddings.

I have a full time day job which pays for my equipment... photography is a hobby and an avenue for me to release from the daily grind and be a little more creative.

No I'm not a museum curator although this is a T-2 hasn't "worked" in probably twenty years...
I used to run one of these but now I just make maps. The HP-41cx I still use every day.

Hospital grant funding.
Otherwise an unemployed electrician since getting a job doing architectural/engineering drafting wasn't going to happen.
