I hope everyone is out having fun, and shooting today. :w00t:

I am trapped. A veritable prisoner in my own home.
It's my daughter's 9th Birthday Party, and five of her friends are here for a sleepover party.

I'm hiding in the back room until I am called for.

That was my only escape. I went out for the pizzas.

My wife told the girls several times to stop shrieking.
I just went out there. They were playing in the dark.
I turned on the light, and calmly told them "There will be no more screeching or shrieking. Is that understood?"
They all said yes.

We'll see how long that lasts.

Ha. Even with the twist up, expanding foam ear plugs, they could still be heard.

Edit: But it's now after 10pm, and they are all in their sleeping bags.
So they may be asleep soon. They ARE at least, quiet.

and to think, you didn't want to see this being built. These panels are ~8' high and hand painted. If you like Suess come on by.
Campolindo HS in Moraga everyday till 10pm building it and the last day is the 12th when it all goes away. There will be 2 more areas like this.

Hey, that's okay. She's a good kid. For now.

But her Grandmother is moving to town next week. I can always either pawn the kid off there, or heck, I can sleep in the spare bedroom over there.
