A compelling article which should make you think in the case of copyright infringement of the Famous Hope poster used in Barack Obama's campaign.

What are your thoughts?

I thought to share this with you all while the link was still active.

You can also add your opinion to the Wall Street Journal Forum as well.

So i have read this article over a few times and have debated this with my husband as well and this is my thoughts on the issue.

Though it is true that Mr. Fairly should have giving Mr. Garcia credit for the photograph of Barack Obama, I also side with Mr.Fairly because of the complete changes that he had made. From colors to words, it may be the same pose but it is clearly not Mr. Garcia's work in the finished product.

One part of me says it's the principle of the matter and the other side says to me its not the same image do to all the changes. I think if you are going to put images on the Internet then you should be prepared to take chances that someone will undoubtedly take advantage of that source sooner or later.

It is really not that difficult to right click a mouse and save image as, people do it everyday.
