Hey, shouldn't I be getting a royalty every time you use that new sig?

Looking forward to the fireworks pics Kevin!

Why? I never got any royalties off the old one.

The seventh one is really kind of low to the ground.
They were all @100 iso ~4-6 seconds ~F8 there was something going on with the exposure, the lights were blinking at me all crazy.
I did PP color temperature to ~<2900.

Those are awesome Kevin.
Where did you go to view them? Were they in SF Bay? Or Martinez?

Alan,
Those were in Moraga, lots of parking, fun all day and warm. Oh, five minutes drive time helps.
Jonathan,
I always watch the Boston Pops fireworks show after I get back from the real thing. If you have access to a TV the Boston show is spectacular.

We didn't go and see any of the big events. But we did go over a friends house, and see some "Safe and Sane" fireworks.

Kevin, those were fantastic shots!

Alan, why didn't you just spell out California Photo Forum with those sparklers?

Roger, the girls could probably have done it. (at least the initials) But the four year old little boy? Uh uh.

I had enough trouble getting them to all get the sparklers lit at the same time. :D

They had a short burn time.

The first one looks like the flash fired on you and the shutter was still open for a few seconds afterwards.
That has got to be you and your older sister ;-) tell her that.

Funny you should mention the first photo Kevin.
When I looked at it, and read the post, I guess I just glanced over it.
I first thought is said dragged the shutter, not dragged to dinner.

But yes, it does look like either a double exposure, or a long exposure.

and that is what happens when you let people change setting on your camera,
I have now learned never to let anyone touch my camera.
