My first car was a '72 Ford Gran Torino Sport.
Yeah, think of the movie Gran Torino with Clint Eastwood, and that's what I had.
It had a 351 Cleveland in it. When I went to the parts store to get new motor mounts, I tossed all four pieces of the two mounts on the counter.
The guy asked me "What did you DO to your CLEVELAND!?!?!?!?"
Yeah, I put solid mounts in it after that.

From that I did a 180 degree turn, and got an '86 Mazda B2000 pickup.
Man I loved that truck.
In four years, I put over 150,000 miles on it. Blew the motor, and traded it in on a '90 Mazda B2600 pickup.

Went from that to a '88 Honda Accord. Now THAT was a fun car. :w00t:
I wish I never sold it.
Got rid of that, when I bought the biggest mistake of my life.
A '98 Chevy Blazer. The biggest piece of cr@p I ever threw money away on.
Three water pumps, four A/C compressors, a Transmission......

Currently have...
'07 F-150 4WD Quad Cab

'02 Toyota Camry XLE V6
Bought both of these new...

and my beater, an '85 Toyota SR5 Pickup.
Got this from a kid who blew it up.
I replaced the motor, carb, radiator, alternator, starter, clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, pilot bushing, clutch master and slave cylinders and battery.
I went to install a stereo, and found out that the kid had sold the speakers for drug money.
So I had to put speakers into it too.

My wife figures I have over 3K into it.

A month doesn't go by that I don't find a note on it from someone wanting to buy it.
Just yesterday, I had two people come up to the door asking if it's for sale.

Kevin, you may be waiting awhile still for an accord to die. HAHAHA

Alan - I like your truck. We looked at them awhile back (before the Hummer) and still to this day wonder if I would get a Super Duty or a HD for my next truck

I had a hand me down 1985 Audi 5000S for a year or so. Was a tank of a car, nothing too exciting about it though, very 80's.

Then had another hand me down, a 1995 Integra GSR. Much more fun. 4 door, so had plenty of room as well. Drove that through end of high school and then through college.

Then got a 2007 Civic SI. Pretty much the exact same car as the Integra, just 12 years newer.

Cars are fun and all, they are just expensive. Thats why I ride bikes :)

2001 Suzuki SV650 Track Bike

2007 Ducati S2R for the street (only decent shot I can find of it online)

My first car was a '72 Nova 6-cylinder/Powerglide trans:

Sold that a bought a '66 Chevelle, 6-cylinder/3-spd until I swapped in a 283 V-8/4-spd:

Sold that and bought my '69 Firebird 400. Put a 455 w/Thurbo 400 trans. Still have it but because of my condition, I can't drive it until modify the brake pedal or buy hand controls.

I also have a '68 Coronet 500 convertible with a 318 V8. My uncle bought it new, sold it to my grandfather who sold it to me.

Thanks. We like it too! It's a Lariet version.
It came stock with the 20 inch wheels. I immediately added wheel locks and the billet grill. ;)

My first car....1967 Corvette convertible. Blue with white interior. I was 18 and had saved up a $1000 and my mom loaned me another $1000 to buy this 4 year old beauty. Sold it in 72 when I moved from Ohio to California. Sure wish I had it back again...

Then a '68 427cu in convertible

Then a '64 coupe

Then I had this long 23 year dry spell where I lost all my hair, gained 4 kids and more than a few pounds and drove a bunch of foreign and domestic junk. Then picked up an '87 coupe in 2002.

And my current ride bought in April of 2003, a 2000 Magnetic Red convertible.

I've added a little under the hood sparkle to it.

Steve,
Ducatis are my favorite, just love the sound of them vs the "whine" of other brands. Maybe someday...... I have yet to see you riding around, we would have noticed.
Mike,
are those Centerlines on the Firebird? Old school :-)

Roger,
Now I see where you went wrong, it goes way back. I think that 67 will cost a bit more than $2000 now. Who is that guy drooling on your 64? Looks like a Vette delinquent. Very nice engine work on your 2000, lots of clean time going on there. Great smiley too.

I tried to kill off her Accord a few weeks ago, I "accidentally" overfilled the slushbox, now it shifts "real funny".
