Anyone interested in Yosemite? - 01-10-2010, 06:45 PM

I wanted to see if anyone was interested in a trip to Yosemite before I put it in the gatherings area.

I'm looking at the week of April 4-10 (NOT going for the whole week )
Open to which days we go, but that week is Spring Break for my daughter.

So yes, this is a family trip.

There are Studio and Loft condos available inside the park.

The waterfalls should be flowing at that time of the year.

Anyone interested?

I'm always up for a trip to Yosemite. I'd only go up for the day though.

Well you practically live next door.

I figure you probably have a season pass?

Okay, that's a couple of day trippers, and maybe three over-nighters?

Sheesh, that's not bad for having just posted this today. ;)

Yeah, yeah. Now you're messin' with me Lowell.

I'm looking at going for three nights. I figure that gives two full days in the park. At this point in time, the most likely days are arrive on the 7th and leave on the 10th.

Abel came from Houston for the SF meet.
And there's a guy from Miami considering coming to this one. So you wouldn't be the one traveling the farthest.

Yeah, Me and Miami are right about 3,000 miles out. Thats a bit far for me to justify it when I live so close to Bushkill Falls

Okay folks, I made my reservations today.
My family and I are going!

We are arriving on Wednesday April 7th and departing on Saturday April 10th.
I figure that gives us two full days in the park.

We are staying here.
It isn't the Taj Mahal, but it's reasonable for staying in the park, with showers, beds, and a kitchen.
And if you are driving in through Highway 120, you have to drive right past Bridalveil Falls and Tunnel View to get to it.

So! Who's going to join us? For the three days? For one day?
