Haven't been around much but have been really busy. I've won 5 professional awards in March/April/May:
- 1st Place, "Studio Portraiture" category, Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area (PPGBA) print competition (May 2010)
- Blue Ribbon, "Studio Portraiture" category, PPGBA Print Competition (April)
- 1st Place, "Weddings" category, PPGBA Print Competition (March)
- Merit Award, "Weddings" category, PPGBA print competition (March)
- 1st Position, world renowned photographer David Ziser's "Photography Master Class" (April -- one of only 6 critiqued images published on his blog out of 190 images submitted for critique during the Master Class. My image was published first, right after David's own that last day of the workshop - April 30, 2010 -- it's the image of the bride in profile against the wall)
David Ziser also invited me to be
a guest author on his blog in May (topic: The Ultimate Hand-held Exposure Meter, it's a bit further down in his article).
