I am not able to see any tutorial on this site.

There's no complete beginners section as of yet but there are a ton of help threads to help you along.

I highly recommend this book for beginner photogs. It thoroughly explains all of the attributes in regards to photography... its loaded with sample photos which makes it much easier to comprehend:

All forums are great for beginners. Just look for what interests you and start participating and asking questions!

Yeah, dont be scared. Just jump in. The users here are nice and if they arent the mods and users will correct it toot sweet.

Watch out for this Tom guy though. I hear he has gas...

Novice, just so you know "GAS" means "Gear Acquisition Syndrome".. means buying tons of GEAR!
