My first car was a 70 2+2 fastyback mustang, wouldn't mind having it again but I would take a current model over the early models anyday of the week. Radial tires over bias ply, elctronic stabilty control, anti-lock disc brakes over 4 wheel drum brakes.

Both the Mustang and the Camaro are "butt ugly". No idea who designed the rear of these two, but they just do not do the rest of the car justice. Thankfully, Dodge got it right with the Challenger.

While I wouldn't go so far as to say butt ugly, I do agree the Challenger is the best retro look. I would still buy a Mustang first. Too ba dthey didn't have a pair of Boss 302s to try too.
