naked native girls ir cool pix
that will get some hits i bet.
I took a few images with my cool pix mod ir camera and thought i would share. I havent really done anything to them but posting.
CC (and that's not color corrections)is always welcomed for a starting point.
I also took a few with my 20d mostly of our room to make our buddies pissed that didnt get to go.
I highly recommend the Sandals if you every go to the Bahamas. Something else i found out while i was down there is that there is no income tax and no property tax if you house and land is under 250k usd. WELL i know where i am sheltering my money and that's in some land and a house in the bahamas.
I found one place you can buy a small home 3/2 and land for 150k usd about a block from the ocean.

I have my IR filter at home... my adheasive and shims etc should be arriving today for my Canon D60..
I hope to convert it over this weekend. I sense a IR Only section coming soon...
i am looking for a d60 or 10d to convert one of these days. I have been pretty happy with my cool pix convert plus it doesnt take up much room in the bag.
oh I just don't think I could do that to an SLR body...it pains me to think of messing with the chip...and I love hacking stuff....

now the point and shoots on the other hand do look tougher... smaller spaces etc
it really comes down to your glass. How good of glass can you get.
does the glass come close to the specs from the manufactur. I found a really great place to get glass and i have seen a lot directions that want you to buy a 100 piece of glass from them. Edmonds has the glass and it's the right thickness for 20 dollars your get enough for 6 cameras. It's easy to cut your self just when you break it turn it over and hit the glass then you get a good clean break.
just watch out for dust. I used to take apart hard drives at home and i would go into the bathroom and mist down every thing with a spray bottle of water or rubbing alcohol. after taping the door with gaffers tap. I never had any problems with dust. the finer the mist the better and of course keep your drive or camera out of the mist.
