Dilemma... - 06-27-2011, 12:53 PM

I have a Mocking Bird dive bombing my dog whenever he goes outside. My dilemma, do I
A) get pictures of the bird dive bombing my beagle?
B) encourage the bird that the neighbors yard is more conducive to blissful living?
C) A then B?

Right now it is just an annoyance but the bird can be persistent and sometimes cut his potty breaks short -- if you know what I mean.

Glen, check to see if there are any bird chicks around.
Normally birds will dive bomb to keep predators away from their chicks.

Wear your hard hat as they may/will dive bomb you, too.

The male Mocking bird thought about it last night until I pull out my big lens. Then he disappeared for the night. THEY were back this morning, though. I have a lot of brushy shrubbery in my back yard so, yes, it is likely that the birds set up home. I posted some pics of doves building a nest in one of my Junipers. I had rabbits and possums in my elaeagnus. I even had a Cooper's Hawk feasting on the birds that like to hang out in my back yard -- I thought it was a neighborhood cat until I caught him read handed, or taloned.
