I've seen some at 10,000 fps, but not 1,000,000! Metal appears very liquid at these speeds.

It pretty much IS liquid.. We used to shoot at a lot of steel: .223 FMJ through 1/2" plate throws a spectacular plume of molten metal behind the target if you do it right at dusk...

Thanks for sharing! The ballistics gel shots make my stomach churn knowing that's what happens internally when shot.

I'd love to see the Winchester Ranger-T hollow points filmed at that speed through gelatin. I can only imagine what carnage you'd see from the petals as the bullet passed through.

I'm not positive, but I am leaning toward thinking that was what was going through the gelatin toward the end of that video: that bullet has been framed as a lot of different products over the years... I'd like to see a hydroshock do the same thing...
