Recommendations: Houston Funeral Home

Hello forum,
Just curious as I've only been a 'guest' at funerals and never have had the responsibility of making all the necessary preparations. Sadly, my wife's grandfather (He's very much mine as well) is currently under hospice care and nearing his last days. We are looking for recommendations for funeral homes in the Houston (central & north areas) that can assist us with coffin & respectful treatment & preparation of body for wake & burial. We were going to try to look up ratings on the Houston Better Business Bureas' website as a starting point. I believe the family already has a family plot in a cemetery around the NE Houston area. Grandfather believed and lived a humble life and wishes to go out the same way so he & the family is not looking for anything extraordinarily expensive or excessively cheap. Reasonably priced is fine. Though he does have a large number of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than willing to contribute to covering the overall expense.

But if any members here have any positive direct experiences with any particular Houston funeral home, please share here or via pm.
