Galveston beach conditions

Anyone been on Galveston beaches recently? I have a client that wants to go to the beach, but from Sea Rim to McFaddin, the beach is full of seaweed. The county and state aren't cleaning anything. I imagine the rest of Bolivar peninsula is the same. How about in Galveston? I don't really want to do a recon that far. Thanks

I was in Galveston this morning, and while there's seaweed, it isn't ridiculous. I could walk to the water without stepping in matted seaweed.

We were shooting down in Jamaica Beach. I tend to angle myself so that you see more of the surf than the seaweed, so it works out for me.

Just spoke with a coworker who is in galveston (

). She said that she will look tomorrow but she also said they clean the beaches every morning and by afternoon they are all weeded up again. She also said the water is very unpredictable right now, one day muddy brown, one day green.

She is supposed to send me a picture tomorrow and I will post it as soon as she does.
