Does anyone here know of any photography related job opportunities here?

I just left a job at a small video production company where I've been for the last 4 years and would love to continue working and learning in the Photography and Videography Fields but don't have many contacts.

I'm not looking specifically to be a photographer (although I would if offered), but anything around the profession would be great to, I just want to keep learning. At my last job I was mainly a Grip and a Video editor and I can also Bring my tools (Computer with FCP Studio 7 and Photography programs) with me if needed.

Does any one know of anything?

Nathan, I don't know anyone, but I do suggest you check Craigslist under gigs, creative. I've seen frequent listings for both paid and unpaid production jobs. You could at least expand your contact list. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip I look there every now any then, just not too many regular jobs. Lots of opportunities though.

It's not about the job, but becoming a known quantity so someone might keep you informed when there IS a job. They used to film TV series in Dallas,I'm sure it's better than Houston.
