Anyone need a couple of gorgeous huskies? - 08-14-2011, 09:34 PM

We've had them for three months and after a long family discussion tonight, which occurred immediately after another attempt by Nanuk to use our beagle Princess as her favorite chew toy.... we realize we are going to have to find them a new home.

I posted info to Craigslist but thought I'd post it here as well so that anyone who might be looking for a couple of amazingly awesome dogs would see it. ;-)

Sorry, my wife said I am husky and furry enough for our house. Very pretty dogs, though!

I grew up with a Husky/German Shepherd mix. If I was still in the north, I'd take them in a heartbeat. Beautiful dogs, though.

We got our Basenji 2 years ago. She loves the heat..haha

I have a Malmute/Husky mix now but my house is far too small for him to have friends over.

Tom made me laugh. If they think beagles are chew toys then my beagle, Kirby, will definitely not stand for it. Good luck in finding them a new home. Beautiful dogs.

Aw man, if i didn't have two dogs already I'd take them. Except for the hairball tumbleweeds throughout the house, i miss my baby.

I'm going through that now with my new puppy. When he came home, he was smaller than my kids' chihuahua/pom mix dog. Now, a month and a half later he towers over her, but still wants to play just as rough.

Would love one, but I just can't afford to board two dogs when I go out of town for my weddings (I already have a lab mix).

Yeah - we don't want to split them up - they tend to freak out a bit if you try to walk one without the other....they just whine....and I mean 'whine'....it's hilarious...and cute....

I emailed the Husky Haven folks - hopefully they may know someone looking for a couple of dogs.

Beautiful dogs.... wish I had room. Our GSD is about all we can handle financially and space wise.

:( If I didn't work offshore so much and my parents watching my dog already I would be all over these. 5 dogs might be a little much though. They are sooo beautiful. I passed this on to a friend that has been looking at some. Hopefully they will contact you.

My labradoodle and maltese still go at it like crazy. They were the same size when the labradoodle was 12 weeks old. Not anymore! He's 60lbs and the little guy is 12lbs. They know enough not to hurt each other though, it's all in good fun. As you can see in the husky pics above, he's got a lot of spunk for a little guy. He's been stepped on, sat on, dragged through the house by his ears and tail... and he still goes back for more!

Lol! How cute! Yeah, I'm glad you aren't wanting to split them up. I saw that happen at PetsMart with 2 puppies that clearly loved each other. Someone bought one of them, and it was just so sad.
