My Fundraiser

This winter I will be doing my first ever Half Marathon. I will be doing the White Rock event on December 4th, 2011. Im really excited and nervous since I have started training for it. Its going to be a challenge for me since I am 300 pound guy.. but i look forward to it becuase the process is gonna help me change that.

At the same time I am going to be doing this (BTW im walking/jogging) to Honor my Daughter. She is a Aplastic Anemia Patient.. and the Team in Training is the group I am doing this with and it all benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Along with all my training I am having to raise funds for the society.. my goal is 1,500. and I hope to put on a few evetns such as a art photo auction, a few raffles and maybe even do a Keg party..

I'm not going to ask anyone for any money on the site here but I would like to ask you that if you are in the Fort Worth Area or Dallas and would like to help me out. I could really use some nice donations that I could include in my raffle.

Such as a free session, maybe a few prints. Things that I know people would want to bid on or buy a raffle ticket for.

I hope I didnt break rules by posting this , and if I did I appologize but I am doing this for a good cause.

this would be "fun" to see what each person does to fundraise...I'm sure that more people have a "cause" I'll be anxious to see if we can do this legally!! If we can...I will add my fundraising cause.
