I had several of those. My favorite was the Pac Man lunchbox. My dad had to hunt for that thing.

You all must have been rich!
I had a brown sack with a with an egg sandwich in it! (And it was really good?)
Of course that was in the early 40's.

We usually found ours at a garage sale or second hand store. Never new.

The lunch "boxes" at Target are almost enough to make me wanna go back to school. They have some cool stuff.

I know what you are saying Sonny, last weekend my grand kids were showing me their new boxes for school this year. They insisted on showing every detail of the pictures on the boxes & were really excited about the whole thing. Really neat to see!!!

Me too!
Mid 50's...egg sandwich also. I finally told mom when I was in the 6th grade "no more egg sandwiches!" (dad had an egg farm with about 20,000 laying hens). I never should have said that because the next day I had bologna and cheese. Hated it ever since! :-(

I remember the waxed paper- Mom taught us how to make our own sandwiches and wrap them ourselves.

I had a Roy Rogers lunch box with Nelli Bell ,Trigger and his dog on it. I can't remember the dogs name.

We also used wax paper and my Mother showed us how to fold it into a little pouch for the sandwich. Sometime we would have fried chicken and it would smell great when you opened it.

Good Memories

Gordon
