Anyone else pick one up in the firesale (or unfortunately before)?

I got the 32GB version, quite possibly the last one in a retail store in Houston (found an out of the way Radio Shack late in the day Friday that had one stuck under some boxes in the backroom).

It's nice. I can see using it for business and photography in many ways.

The best use for photography is having a near infinite portfolio available.

I'm setting up portfolios on it for the various types of clients I still do some photog work for (commercial/corporate and legal). And also the personal obligatory ones for family and vacations.

The system is a bit lacking in apps, even if you crack it and add in preware/homebrew. There is a crack to add an Ubuntu partition to run some linux software, and an Android port id also in the works though. (A $99/$149 Android tablet?!?!? Awesome).

I have an iPad but would have grabbed one at the fire sale price if I found one. I think the biggest concern would be apps but an Android hack would be awesome.

This CNN Money article bears reading. It doesn't paint a pretty picture for Android or WinDoze based tablets.

Yup we got one. I am surprised how much I like it already.

Another benefit: Kind;e. For $150 I got a tablet that acts as a kindle, with the ability to play music in the background while I read (i'm using Pandora), then if you want to check something you just read out on the web: voila!
