Why the hell wouldn't you get a model release anyways to cover your ass? Or ask to see the signed document. Especially if you plan on selling them.

I don't think she could've signed it legally, not being 18.. but then why wouldn't you get the parents to sign it..? This is why I don't work with minors.. waay too risky.

Looks like all the parties involved made some bad decisions/assumptions. Only the lawyers are going to 'win' this one.
