And this little feller popped up in the GOM. Only sitting at 10% now, but that's 10% more than we had a day ago.

Let me apologize in advance to Corpus Cristi and Brownsville, but I have been praying for a Hurricane since July, and the only way I know to get one up here near Lubbock is to have it come in around CC!

Please send water.... Our well is almost dry.

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!

Dang, upgraded to 60%. She's feeding off the steam bath that is the GOM surface waters right now. Dad went out a little over 100 nm two weeks ago and said jumping in was like hitting a jacuzzi.

This is the little guy that we are watching right now. I am out in the Gulf on a Rig working (Northern Mississippi Canyon) and this one looks like it might actually affect us out here. Don't feel anything yet but looking over the side of the rig you can see the swells building up. We went from 5-10 kt winds on the top deck to 10-25 today. tomorrow looks like 30-40 and then building as the wave comes closer.

Hope it just becomes a big thunderstorm and Houston (NW cypress area) can get some rain as I am sure my yard is hurting right now w/o me home to water it.

Y'all be safe if it does head towards y'all and those on the east coast watch out for this new comer.

Wow, eyewitness account of our potential little storm. We are so dry - need the rain!
Be safe out there.

I was over at the NOAA weather site checking out some of the bouys. More than a few in the central GOM are showing gusts in excess of 35 knots.

This thing intensified from a 10% chance, to 70% in a day.

Mr. Lee has somewhere to be, apparently. Stay safe out there.

Huh, just noticed that 98L seems to have reformed off the eastern seaboard. At least I think that's 98L with the 10% sitting on it.

EDIT: One of the satellite images is showing some rotation around a central point. I say Lee is born by 3 pm today.
