Agreed. Photojournalism should NEVER accept that much image manipulation. And the press wonders why their reputation is so low.

I wish they would apply the same control over the content of the reporter (not embellishing or offering their opinion) as they do to the photographs. Opinions and perspectives can be the offering of the commentator or editorialist and not some (in some cases) poorly informed or opinionated reporter
