Anyone in DFW want to photograph a cemetery tonight? - 09-04-2011, 08:47 AM

I'm looking for someone who want to join me for a night shoot tonight(Sept 4th).

My wife went with me last night and got scared so now she doesn't want me to go by myself.
It's going to be an all night shoot because I'm be shooting some time-lapse also. Here's a photo from last night of the location.

Here's the time-lapse I'm working on:

So if anyone is interested in night shooting or time-lapse here's a chance to get some hands on experience. If you shoot Canon I can be of more help also.
The cemetery is about 1.5hrs west of Ft Worth.
Send me a PM if interested!

Nice shot man... I would so be all over this. I just have a dinner engagement tonight that I had to fight the wife to get re-scheduled to tonight, so I could shoot Fri and Sat night... which I did. If I went out again tonight, I'd probably be contacted by a divorce attorney by Monday... ;-)

The last couple of nights have been pretty neat, the moon's been setting by about 11:30 so you can get moon lit stuff as well as milky way all in one go... pretty cool.

I did some civil war fort time-lapse on Fri night and then some windmill time-lapse last night, finally with a sunrise time-lapse this morning up in Turner Falls, OK.

I'm tired!

Have fun, and be sure to post it! 8-)

I am about sick of unpacking from the move. Wish I could join you. Sounds like a lot of fun.

Are you going out toward Palo Pinto area? There is a lot of cool stuff out that way.

If it wasn't this weekend, I'd go along, but I'm kind of on the hook for the next couple days.

Probaly shooting until around 3am and then driving back. So you wouldn't be back until way late.

Yeah, 5am would be too late! :'-( This is seriously something I've been wanting to do, tho. I did one late night last year in my own yard, but nothing like what you've been doing!

4hours and 16 minutes in 16, 16 minute exposures.

Let me know if you go out again, and I'd be happy to help.

My mom has a house in Mineral Wells. I've been all over that area.

Well it was kind of a last minute deal. My bother was suppose to go with me then something came up and he couldn't.
Figured I'd post it because people are alway interested in astro-photography. But I guess not many people check here on a Sunday. But for what it's worth, if something like this comes up again, it will be last minute also.....

Seriously? Next time I'm sending you a text!
BTW, there's a place a lot closer to you that I want to shoot real soon. I'll send you a PM about it later.
