Look, I don't understand what all the fuss is about. Those are PHENOMENAL wedding photographs. The first one is very ethereal, with the lights streaking everywhere. I've been trying to master this technique with the liquidity tool, with little success.
The second one is a masterpiece as well. Obviously, the photographer is as attracted to the broach as much I am. It's very shiny and pretty. I like shiny things. Also, it's a great view of the bride's rack, I'm sure the groom is ALL about that shot!
The third one is just art. Pure art. I think this is a plain as any example of when ambient lighting is more beautiful than flash.
The fourth picture of the captain's epaulette is just stunning. Again, it's kinda shiny and purdy. Very good technique putting the point of interest in the center of the picture. Who cares about the captains face. He looks old. So does the bride. She looks much better headless. I'll have to remember this technique!
The fifth picture of the beautiful setting the wedding may have taken place is stunning at 45 degrees. It's a proven fact: diagonal lines are more interesting than straight lines! Here's something else I learned on E!, it's that all good male photographers aren't straight! Hahaha! It all makes sense now!
The sixth picture is just brilliant. Why put a logo on each picture, when you can just photograph yourself in the picture so every knows who took it!? I'm thinking from now on, I'll hire an assistant to keep a mirror behind my subjects so I can save time in microsoft paint hand drawing my logo into every picture! Lifesaver!
The last picture certainly DOES count! Silly article! ANY picture taken on the day of the wedding counts as a wedding picture. The couple could type the wedding date into google images and then they wouldn't be lying when they said the picture was taken on their wedding day! |
