Saw this exchange on FB and had to share. A girl actually used her laptop cam to shoot her senior pics. Very creative. The pics weren't bad. Wonder if this will turn into a fad.

I don't think this teen would have been a client to any professional photographer in any circumstance. So no, I wouldn't think it would affect professionals. Some people are happy good enough.

Of course no pics. Like I'm going to post a minor's FB pics here? Even if she has made here albums public, I'm just not going to go there.

Totally disagree. Moms and Dads may still opt for a traditional studio portrait, but if this becomes a vogue thing to do you bet it will have an impact. In this case, this young lady's family certainly has the means to afford senior pics.
