Question for the vast and underpaid research dept - 09-09-2011, 07:15 AM

I have a 1dmk2 and the lcd bites. Love the camera but for landscapes and such (other than sports/nature) its a PITA to see the lcd to review the shots. Is there anything out there (other than tethered to a laptop) that can be used to view shots on. A monitor of some sorts if you will. I see if you have live view there are some options but if you dont have that option is there anything else?
Thanks for any info
Fred

I had a homemeade version on my 10d for awhile and it really did help a lot.

The Hoodman is probably the least expensive. Makes viewing easier but it isn't necessarily enlarged to a point that is really useful. What about an Eye Fi card to a laptop or iPad?

Thanks Andy for the info. The problem with an eyefi is I have to carry around my laptop. I already can tether to mine as it is now so it wouldnt be much of an advantage. Need something a bit smaller and more portable.
One guy suggested a Portable DVD player with a video in port. I would have to take the shot and then review it on the player.
If the dang thing had live view my problem would be solved
Keep the ideas comming, I do appreciate them.
