With the addiction of people to their smart phones, this doesn't surprise me at all. Especially considering the number of people who tether their computers to their phones to get internet.

Yep. I'm surprised we aren't there now. Many countries are already well beyond that. They can get cell phones today, but have to wait an unreasonably long time to get landlines, plus pay exorbitant fees to install.

Can you imagine how much it would cost/how much time it would take to run land lines out across all of China or Australia?!

I got "introduced" to the Magic Jack by one of my eighty year old clients this week.

She was pretty sure she was the first person to hear of it, and wanted to make sure I knew about it.

In the process of acting like I had never heard of it, I got the long version of where to buy it, how to install it and how great it was. Twice.
