A few years ago a man who used to fly into our airport a few time a month ran his Bugatti Veyron into a lake, bay, pond or something. I think theres a video on you tube somewhere. He wasn't hurt but I haven't seen his plane at our airport since. Gues he is in hidding now. If I ran a 1.5 million dollar car off in the water because I was reaching for my cell phone I would hide too.
I would love to own either GTR or Lexus LFA. Huge difference in price but who cares, they're both way out of my price range.

Talking about this one?
NSFW language

Turns out this guy owns some sort of car restoration business, so he had more than enough resources to fix that up with a low overhead.

Ohwell!

Thats probably him, has to be because how many people in Texas own a Veyron. He used to fly into Longview Regional airport every now and then and leave his plane sitting at KRS aviation. I knew he was on business trips but never knew what kind of business. I was told that he dropped his cell phone and when he reached to get it he saw the bird in front of him. Hmm? Hit a bird or run a $1.5 million car off in the water so the bird can live? Sounds fishy to me, and the car smells fishy... I guess we will never find that bird for questioning.

No wonder it went into the river. The steering wheel is on the wrong side

BTW, I don't think that's in Texas. Too many sedans on the road and the grass are lush and green

Yep it was Texas, you can see all the storage tanks in the background. from what I heard it was somewhere south of Houston so probably Texas City, League City, BayTown? They still bring it up at the airport sometimes. I can tell you if it had been me I would have missed the phone call and the bird would have been a splatter on the windshield. Funny though when you watch the video there's no bird. He just drives off the road like he isn't watching where he's going, kinda like reaching for a cell he dropped???
