Any water left in Caddo?

I'm going over that way next weekend and I usually swing by Uncertain, but I'm curious if its worth the time this year after the dry summer.

Anyone been by there lately?

I have friends that live near Lake Caddo, that say it is very low now.
according to Real-Time Reservoir Information it is currently at 30.61% of its capacity.

It's low but there's always some good photo ops on Caddo, you might have to rent a barge or boat to get to the spots but they're there. Just watch out for the stumps because you can't go 50 ft without bumping one.

This is off topic but it's a trick I just learned the other day on a fishing trip to Toledo. You know those pesty little knats that love to fly around your face when it's hot like it is now? If you take a dryer sheet and rub it over your face and then hang it under the back of your cap the knats will leave you alone! Every fishing trip during the summer the knats would always fly around my head getting in my eyes, worse early in the morning and late in the day. They were doing this on my fishing trip to Toledo last weekend and a friend with me had some dryer sheets. He gave me one and the knats stayed about 5 ft away, plus i smelled good... Might be handy when your trying to get tose sunset photos on the lake.
Just thought I would share it.

That is supposed to work with mosquitoes too. I guess they don't like the fresh odor!

Low water could be a plus for wildlife shooters - critters concentrated in those areas with water.
