downloading issues

This is a discussion on downloading issues within the Open Talk forums, part of the General Information category; I'm trying to download some zip files from graphic authority and they seem to get stuck and stop...any ideas besides ...

I'm trying to download some zip files from graphic authority and they seem to get stuck and stop...any ideas besides keep trying, restart the computer, clean the files?

Usually if they stall, there is a break in the data stream making them corrupt. Try a download utility like flashget to help with that.

Rich they are, 702 MB, 510 MB, and 288 MB....each an individual file

Oh yeah, those are huge files. Try the download manager flashget.

ok I'm trying...BTW, the first memory stick still had issues. Switched them out and so far I haven't had a bit of problems with the second one....looks like that might be our problem. will give it some more time.
