Thank you Ken.

UPDATE:
Spoke to Zab via text and here is what he had to say.

From Zab:
My mom had a chat with our pastor last night, she felt a little better after that and she prayed all night. She prayed not for healing but asking for peace in her heart and asking God to do his perfect will.

Having known these guys since the beginning of them joining our group, a few years now, I feel I have just lost a very close and dear brother.

UPDATE:

Unfortunately, Izzy's life was not able to stay with us physically. But he will be with us spiritually and in memory.

Definitely a loss in the community, a major upset to our local team and of course a large cry of sadness from the family.

I got word of the news in the afternoon the moment it was called. It was very hard to take in.

For those of you wondering, myself and Pat, another team lead member, are building something to remember Izzy by and to help the family. Look for that very soon.

Also, I spoke to Zab last night and he will let me know about any arrangements, but this is too soon to get info about memorial services and such.

Thank you for all for the support that Izzy and Zab needed and still need.

Please be patient, and I will post up the arrangements once Zab gives me the okay to reveal them to you.

Thank you all again.

So, so sad! I was praying and hoping he would recover. Way too young to die. My three oldest children are in their 20s so I can't even imagine what the parents must be going through. My condolences to the family and all of you who knew him.

Thank you Charrie. It is very tough on us all.

Our local group is planning a caravan of the people he raced with in the SCCA group here in Houston, TX to his memorial that is being planned.
