Thoughts and support for our houston friend who went through a brain aneurysm - 09-29-2011, 08:34 AM

This something I have been spreading throughout my facebook and facebook page and all of the sites that I am a member on.

I spread it be because I feel he needs as many people as possible thinking about him and hoping for his life to pull through.

My post:
For those that do not know, one of our Houston TX AUTOX members, Izzy, BLK2k3GTS has had an unfortunate Brain Aneurysm. Pretty much some brain blood vessels busted and released blood through out his brain.

TEAM FOCALIZE MEMBERS(The Ford Focus Group): Austin, Justin, Matt, Paul, Travis, Gerold and myself and my wife all went to the hospital to support Izzy and his brother Zab through this tough time.

The story:
Couple of nights ago, Sept 27, 2011, Izzy was complaining of a severe headache during dinner but did not get a chance to have dinner. As he headed over to his room, with his mother falling him, his pain began to progressive quickly. So, quickly it came to a point where Izzy could not handle the pain no longer and pass out.

Zab immediately called 911 and Izzy was checked and then taken to the hospital.

The doctors at the hospital told Zab and his family that a group of non developed vain vessels popped and he had a Hemorrhage in the brain.

Izzy has been at the hospital through the whole day with his family beside him laying in the hospital bed with not much but a machine helping his body live.

WE ARE ALL PRAYING AND HOPING HIS BODY WILL HAVE THE STRENGTH TO COME BACK AND BE WITH US ONCE AGAIN.

Yes, poor Izzy may have some brain damage or he may not be able to fully understand everyone. But we feel it would be also a great lost and great pain to us all and especially Zab and his family to lose Izzy.

Izzy is 22, and still has a long life ahead of him.

Our Houston Team is crushed and I am glad we can pull together to support our member.

I request that all please offer your prayers that Izzy can make it through this and also give Prayers to Zab and his family as they are fighting this hard time in their lives.

IZZY AND ZAB, WE ARE HERE FOR YOU GUYS AND PRAY THAT THIS WILL MOVE TOWARDS A POSITIVE NOTE.

THIS TIME IS FOR IZZY:

Thank you all for your support.

Here's what has happened so far:
-This Morning- AN UPDATE FOR EVERYONE: IZZY HAD A CAT SCAN A LITTLE AFTER 4AM THIS MORNING, AND NOW HAS TUBES PLUGGED INTO HIS BREATHING PASSAGES.

KEEP PULLING THROUGH IZZY. KEEP PULLING THROUGH

-Later This Morning - UPDATE A MESSAGE FROM HIS BROTHER ZAB:
Izzy is still unconscious like he has been since Tuesday night, they tried to stop the hemorrhage but couldn't do much to close the vessels since it was of more risk to do it, right now doctors are discussing the case, studying the last scans and should be back with us in a few hours

- An hour later from that - UPDATE FROM ZAB:
WE JUST TALKED TO ONE OF THE DOCTORS, HE IS STILL SHOWING SOME BRAIN ACTIVITY BUT VERY MINIMUM, THEY DON'T THINK HE IS GOING TO SURVIVE, THEY WILL KEEP THE BODY ALIVE ALIVE FOR AS LONG AS WE WANT BUT HIS BRAIN IS ALMOST GONE. :'(

On that last note, I told his brother to not lose faith and hold on to that last bit of chance that is showing. That last bit of chance is what all of us have to hold on to for him.

Thank you all again for the support. We are waiting patiently for him to respond.

Sending good thoughts his way, and for his doctors. Hopefully they will find a way to help him.

Thank you guys.

I just received a phone call from the Brain Aneurysm Foundation of Houston and they will be helping support the family and also help answer some questions that all of us need to hear for lack of knowledge of this mishap that Izzy is going through.

I forward to the information to Izzy's brother and again, thank you all once more.

Praying for Izzy, his family, and the doctors to give him the help he needs to not only survive this thing, but to recover to the point where he can live a long, happy, life.

Thank you all for the support.

Update:

.......

Well, I have been messaging ZAB all morning .......

Here is what Zab had to say:
I got to the hospital not to long ago, my dads side of the family traveled over night from Mexico to be here with us. When I got here the doctor had already talked to my parents, his brain is still swollen, it will keep on being swollen for days, his ability to breath on his own has been lost completely, doctors can't do anything to help him anymore ........... :(

I told Zab that I still BELIEVE HE WILL MAKE IT THROUGH ... BUT IT IS VERY HARD TO SIT HERE AND TYPE THIS AND HERE THAT.

I will admit, tears are beginning to fall.

Well, after a long weekend of having to do get back to work and still thinking about Izzy and Zab.

I had a chance to have a txt conversion with Zab both Sunday and Saturday.

Understand the updates have slowed down from myself and Zab, because of how critical Izzy has become, and the emotions overwhelming the thought of typing it out.

Basically, Izzy's brain has no activity what so ever. And his heart rate has been speeding up to 140-150. To give you some insight a good runner will have a heart rate around 145-150 pushing it. So, Poor Izzy's heart is racing ... all day.

Zab has been talking to him and letting him know about everyone's wishes to a recovery and hopes.

But unfortunately, again, it is up to the family of what to do now.

My last visit, Zab and his parents and their pastor had a long conversation with the doctor ... but with all of the emotions, I honestly didn't want to hear the news at that time.

The doctors have done everything that they can now.

This is very very emotional time for the family and for Zab.
