Glad to hear that her problems have been explained, and that it's such an easy fix! Hope she starts feeling better soon (she probably didn't even realize she wasn't up to her full potential).

That's awesome that they found something so quickly. Hopefully she can get it under control quickly. I know sometimes that doesn't happen. I'm sure that will help her self esteem too!!

Glad that you found this out! Unfortunate that the family Dr. didn't suggest a visit to an Endo. This sounds somewhat familiar to what a friend of mine was going through. She is very mindful of what and how much she eats, works out routinely, but still has weight issues. Her Dr. was to the point of questioning her honesty with her diet and exercise commitment, but she knew something wasn't right. Turns out after further tests her thyroid is toast. She's now on medication, feels vindicated and is looking forward to things getting better. I hope things work out for your daughter, and you too. : )
