That latency might be an issue for really learning... I wouldnt be able to deal with that....

Something that is time based using sound cant have delays....

agreed.. the video was on a preproduction copy.. current reviews have mentioned that being fixed... ill find out tonight when i give it a try.

That would be cool if they did get the latency issue fixed. My daughter is wanting to learn the guitar and I don't do guitar.
I play drums myself and suck at the Rock Band game because the timing isn't where it should be. At least the people I was playing with said it's like that until you get to the higher levels.

I just bought the game and if you hook it up like it says using analog sound to a stereo/headphones there is no lag. But if you use HDMI and TV speakers there is delay

hmm... do any of you guys know if this will work with a midi/usb guitar?

my wife just recently bought one that's supposed to work with rockband, guitar hero, etc.. but I'm not able to find a list of compatible controllers for this game.

I don't know if it will but look on their website or ask on their forums to see if anyone knows or have tried it
