I didn't see this posted, so apologies if it was, but while there is no description, I'm kinda curious about why the law was put on the books in the first place...

sounds like some BS law to deter 'suspicious activity' ... like a lot of those buildings aren't immensely public, anyway.

DC is tough. They have laws regarding shooting near monuments and technically almost EVERYTHING is a monument. We got through the shoot with some very creative stuff, but it was a challenge.
