ME- I'm posing an elderly lady, and i happen to be using one of those older posing stools thats not padded.

i ask her to have a seat on the stool

She sits and says (not in the most polite way either) "This stool is really hard"

So me feeling like a smart ass for that moment in time, i told her i had a bottle of stool softener if she would like some.

It was apparent at that time that she did not have a sense of humor.

The tables can be reversed, you know. Sometimes, I pick on my clients, just to add a little humor and help them relax. Occasionally, I will get a 'live' one. I was demonstrating a pose for a very well formed young bride..."Face this way, weight on your left foot, yada, yada, yada... Can you do that for me?"

She stood there watching and said, "I don't think so." I thought 'what an idiot'. Then she said, "I can do my feet like that and shift my weight...but I don't think I can make my belly stick out like you do."

She, her mom, and I all fell out laughing. I said, "Ok, I can respect that attitude. It did just double your price, but I respect it."

I try to make lots of funny comments. The more fun we are having the easier it is to shoot.
